Head of School

Hello! My name is Megan Vite and I serve as the Head of School at SUPER School. I am very proud to have been with SUPER School for over 10 years. I started out as a 1st grade teacher, and then served in different capacities such as: Intervention Teacher, ELL Teacher, ELA coach, 5th grade teacher, and the School Testing Coordinator. I received my Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, and ELL certification at IUPUI in 2007 & 2010. I completed my Building Administration Program through Marian University in 2017. When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, Santander, and 3 kids Sammy, Sarah, and Abigail. We enjoy going to church, playing at the park, and finding adventures through country drives. I firmly believe great things are happening at SUPER School and with our current staff, SUPER School has a bright future ahead.

Assistant Principal
My name is Nancy Stewart and I am the proud Assistant Principal at SUPER School 19! I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2005 and a Masters Degree in Special Education along with certificates in both Response To Intervention and Autism in 2017. Before my current position, I have enjoyed over 16 years of educating children, my roles have included a Third grade teacher, Fourth grade teacher, Fifth grade teacher, Sixth grade ELA teacher, Behavior Specialist, Instructional Coach, and Title 1 teacher. I enjoy spending time with my husband (Paul), our four children (Anthony 18, Gino 15, Enzo 9, & Giorgi 6), and our dog (Lucci). I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with SUPER School students every day, and provide supports in Academic and Social Emotional Growth!

Welcome! My name is Christy Owens and I have had the privilege of working at SUPER School for 13 years. I live on the Southside of Indianapolis with my husband Eric, Daughter Kayla who attends IU Kelley School of Business and my Goldendoodle Wrigley. I began working here when we were Frederick Douglass #19 as the Behavior Facilitator, then I became Secretary and now I serve as SUPER Schools Operation Manager. I enjoy being an Aunt, traveling with friends and family, and reading by the pool. Please let me know if you need anything!

4th-6th Assistant Principal

My name is Cory Colby, I am an instructional coach at SUPER School.  I have considered SUPER School my home for the past 4 years. After graduating from IUPUI in 2010, I started my teaching career in Indianapolis Public Schools.  Over the course of 10 years I have taught different grade levels and subjects.  Speedway is home with my four children where I enjoy being a dad.  My hobbies include cooking, biking, and spending time exploring local parks.   As an instructional coach I plan to support all teachers by providing them with constructive insights and effective teaching methods that I have gathered from my own classroom experiences. I hope that my supportive role will tremendously benefit either the internalization of mathematics curriculum or overall classroom instruction

Community Coordinator

I have worked in the Indianapolis Public School system for 11 years.  I started as an Instructional Assistant and have also worked as a Behavior Adjustment Facilitator and Parent Involvement Educator.  This is my third year taking on the role of Community Coordinator.  I love my job and the SUPER School 19 families, students, and community I serve. My goal is to make a difference in the life of a child and to make a positive impact on the families at SUPER School.

In my free time I love to travel, play golf, go out to dinner, and spend time with friends and family. I love relaxing on the beach and going to see a good live music concert (The Killers are my favorite). My husband Jeb and I have a cat Jax who we adore and spoil rotten.  My favorite quote is "Be the change you wish to see in the world" by Ghandi.

School Counselor

My name is Porscha Boney and I am the School Counselor at Super School 19. I earned my Bachelor’s degree at Indiana University South Bend in Liberal Arts & Science with a concentration minor in English as well as Psychology in 2013.  I furthered my education and received a Master’s Degree in School Counseling along with a certification in Life Coaching in 2020 from Indiana Wesleyan University. Before my current position, I worked for the State of Indiana in child welfare and in other school districts.  I really enjoy spending time with my three daughters and friends.  I enjoy traveling and reading! I am very grateful to have the opportunity to work at Super School 19! I have a passion for working with youth and helping them become the best version of themselves.  I thrive to provide support for our students mentally, emotionally, socially, and academically!

K-3rd Assistant Principal

My name is Kiley Colby, I am the K-3 assistant principal.  In 2006 I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors degree and dual major in Special Education and Elementary Education. I’ve spent most of my career in Indianapolis Public Schools with classroom experience ranging from Kindergarten through 4th grade.  In addition to being a classroom teacher I have been an Orton Gillingham coach, Literacy Coach and an IPS District Instructional Specialist.  After graduating with a Masters in Leadership and Administration from Marion University I decided to take a leap into the role of Assistant Principal here at SUPER School.  Along with being an assistant principal I am also a mom to four amazing kids.

School Social Worker

My name is Kathy O’Hanlon. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville. I am a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed school social worker. I have been working in social work for 25+ years in various environments. I have worked with foster families, residential facilites, addictions, home based therapy, clinic-based therapy, but found my calling when I began working in school settings. Some of this work was done in Indiana, but I have also worked in California, Oregon and Kentucky. I have worked in a school setting for 16 years, both in Indiana and Oregon. I enjoy being outside, knitting, baking and swimming. I have two teenage boys and 3 cats.
