Interim Chair

Joe represents a playground equipment manufacturer, supporting youth and organizations throughout the United States and Canada. He has had the privilege of working for a variety of organizations with an intentional focus on providing high-quality, unique experiences where customer satisfaction has served as the foundation for success. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Joe attended Ithaca College and began his career as an educator in Atlanta, Georgia. He later became an educational sales consultant in South Florida before relocating to Indiana in 2013. He has experience in nonprofit and automotive business development as well as restaurant and retail management. Joe resides in Greenwood, Indiana with his wife, daughter, and son. He enjoys family hikes with their dogs, Stella and Carmel

Stephanie Hickman

Stephanie Hickman grew up in South Carolina, but has lived in NYC, Denver, Memphis and St. Louis. She is the daughter of a public school teacher and parent of 3 children, all of whom spent their primary and secondary years in local public schools. Stephanie was involved in SUPER School becoming an innovation school and has served on the board since it's start. She is passionate about helping create or maintain quality educational seats for all children in Indianapolis, especially in the southeast neighborhoods. Stephanie is the Team Coordinator for The Nottingham Team, a team of 8 Realtors® at Plat Collective, a locally owned downtown real estate brokerage who is actively engaged in improving the quality of life for all in downtown Indianapolis and the surrounding areas.

Steve Gillman

Steve Gillman retired from Eli Lilly and Company in 2013 after 35 years of service. Prior to his retirement, Steve was the Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environment; he also had executive leadership roles in engineering and manufacturing. Born in Brookville, Indiana, Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Steve is a registered Professional Engineer in Indiana and serves on the boards of the The Starfish Initiative, the Indiana Board of Registration for Professional Engineers, Minority Engineering Program of Indianapolis, Indiana Bread for the World, and the Rose-Hulman Alumni Association. He is active mentoring several young men and in a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education initiatives in the classroom and at the policy level. Steve is married to Cindy and they have two children, Andrew (daughter-in-law Courtney) and Emily (husband Adam) and one grandson (Austin).

Ann Puckett-Harpold has enthusiastically served children in many capacities during her educational career including her work as an elementary school teacher, principal, central office administrator and college instructor. She had the opportunity to open the first Edison school in Indiana and has worked with schools and corporations across the United States and the United Kingdom. Ann P-H is passionate about supporting educators as they embrace opportunities to utilize available data to drive instruction. As an educational leader, she embraces four words: FOCUSED, CONSISTENT, INTENTIONAL, and RELENTLESS. Her expertise is in strategic proactive planning, professional development, and data based accountability that leads to increased student achievement.

Lori Taylor is the Founder & CEO of The Produce Moms, a widely recognized consumer brand that is devoted to the sales and consumption of fresh produce. Lori sold fresh produce to retailers for ten years and often appears in the media as a produce industry spokesperson. Lori is the host of The Produce Moms Podcast, a seasoned Keynote Speaker, and a recipient of many produce industry accolades including the inaugural Forbes Next 1000 initiative which spotlights start-up entrepreneurs that are changing the world through influence and innovation.
